Established in 2018 by Jessica Kruger, LUXTRA is a conscious luxury brand that creates beautiful, cruelty-free, and sustainability-focused accessories. Choosing materials that have ecological or plant-based characteristics they are at the forefront of the vegan ‘leather’ industry using cutting-edge alternatives such as cactus leaves, pineapple fibres and apple skin. They are also proudly certified as a B Corporation – a new type of company that balances purpose with profit which you can read more about in our journal.
Luxtra signifies luxury transformed: a modern approach to crafting sustainable goods. The visual identity is modern, yet timeless – inspired by the classic typography of days gone by. An essence of nostalgia runs through the brand imagery with a collection of half-tone patterns celebrating beauty in the everyday. The elegant palette is inspired by the natural world with a luxurious and romantic twist.
Luxtra believe in embellishing daily life with beautiful objects whilst always caring for our planet. The packaging consists of a reusable Oeko-Tex certified cotton dust bag and a fully recyclable FSC certified box and care cards.
